Clap for Tinkerbell

Clark Stooksbury brings to our attention a storm warning from Glenn Reynolds: “The press had better hope we win this war, because if we don’t, a lot of people will blame the media.”

Maybe he has in mind the conservative media. You know, the people helped gin up the war in the first place. But it’s hard to figure out what Reynolds means when he writes prose like this:

“But even so, that won’t change the fact that a press that looks in many ways as if it’s rooting for defeat won’t make an appealing scapegoat for a lot of people.”

Presumably, he means will the second time, not won’t.
