Neo-conned
I’ll have a review of Neo-conned! Just War Principles: A Condemnation of War in Iraq in the forthcoming issue of The American Conservative, out late next week (or a little later, depending on where you live). I’m not as rhapsodic about the book as Tom Woods was, but I can tell you that Michael Novak is wrong to say “the book’s title typifies the seriousness of the essays it includes…” — as wrong as he is about the justice of the Iraq War.
It may have a senationalistic title, but Neo-conned contains serious essays (for the most part) in the Catholic and conservative traditions of just war and prudence. Check out the review in a week to ten days.
